All statistics, tables, charts, and summaries on this dashboard are calculated from pregnancy outcomes with status = 'Approved' only. Pending and rejected outcomes are not included in dashboard calculations.
The data displayed for Phase 3 (2026-27) is subject to change as community leaders and surveillance officers across 44 LGAs continue to submit pregnancy outcome records from about 2,000 Enumeration Areas. This phase will be considered COMPLETED on July 31, 2027. Data is updated in real-time as submissions are validated and approved.
The Kano State Surveillance for Evidence and Policy (KASSEP) system provides real-time tracking of health indicators across 44 LGAs. Select any indicator from the sidebar to access detailed surveillance data, trends, and policy insights.

About KASSEP
The Kano State Surveillance for Evidence and Policy (KASSEP) system is a comprehensive, multi-stakeholder surveillance platform designed to track maternal, perinatal, and child health outcomes across Kano State.
Key Actors: Community Leaders (filling delivery, maternal death, pregnancy, and stillbirth forms) in ~2,000 Enumeration Areas across 44 LGAs, supported by Female Surveillance Officers (filling pregnancy outcome forms), Secretaries to District Heads (ensuring completeness and consistency), Ward Development Committee Chairmen (supporting Emirate Council Teams), and Surveillance Supervisors from Kano State Ministry of Health, Kano Bureau of Statistics, National Population Commission, and Directorate for Planning Research and Statistics (validating and approving data, enabling CRVS forms and certifications).
